SAMPLE PauPau Angel Persians & Exotics Pet Contract CFA Registered Cattery Breeder: Paula Yono Contact # 586-764-1188 www.paupauangels.com This contract is between PauPau Angel (s) Cattery (Seller/Breeder herein referred to as Seller) and the person/persons listed below (Buyer herein referred to as Buyer) made on this _____day the ____th of______, 2005 and concerns the sale of the Cat (herein referred to as Cat) described as: Breed:___________________Color: ___________________Sex: ______________ DOB:_____________Sire:______________ Dam: ____________ Quality: Pet , Breeder, Breeder/Show , Show CFA # ______________ Cat is sold as: PET (sold with out breeding rights) Buyer: Name:___________________________________ Mailing Address: Phone:______________ Cell:______________ Non-Refundable Deposit given to reserve Cat:_______ Sell Price:$__________ Buyer understands the following statements and terms of sale of Cat: · Cats are sold based on the quality the seller feels this Cat is at the time of sale and is the opinion of Seller. Seller does not and can not guarantee this cat will win any kind of award from any Cat Fanciers Association or similar organization as many factors such as grooming play a big roll in a cat winning an award at Cat Shows. Buyer also can not determine how a kitten will grow and mature. · If Cat is sold as "Show" Buyer agrees to only show Cat in peak show condition as expected at a CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) show. · Cat must be paid in full before leaving PAUPAU ANGEL(S) Cattery. · To the best of sellers knowledge Cat is healthy and sound at the time of sale. · This cat has received at least its first distemper vaccine which includes some or all of the following: Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus, and Chlamydi · This cattery (PauPau Angel) is in the process of starting DNA testing for Polycystic Kidney Disease now that this new method of testing has become available. However, Seller does not or guarantee against PKD at this time. · Under no circumstance will Seller be held responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred by Buyer at any time for any reason for this Cat. If a replacement Cat is provided by Seller and Cat has to be shipped, Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs and all additional related costs of shipping the Cat. · This Cat is being fed a mix of Holistic high protein foods such as Chicken Soup For The Kitten Lover's Soul, Diamond Active Cat Naturals and Natures Variety Raw Instinct. Seller recommends continuing the use of this food regimen for Cat. However if a different high quality food is chosen by Buyer it shall not be given to Cat until after one week of being in Buyers possession. After the one week period Buyer may slowly change Cats food to a new food by gradually adding a very small amount of new food mixed in with the original (Authority Kitten or Adult) food seller fed Cat. This gradual switch should be done over a period of 1-2 weeks and no sooner. Buyer understands quickly switching Cats food could cause serious stomach upset and or Diarrhea which could possibly become serious especially in young kittens. · Buyer understands that there are many plants that are poisonous and toxic to cats and kittens. Buyer agrees to educate himself on plants that are dangerous to cats/kittens and agrees to remove or place all of these plants out of reach of Cat before Cat is in Buyers possession. · Buyer will not allow Cat to roam freely outdoors at anytime. Buyer understands that doing so could cause Cat to pick up a life threatening disease or illness from other animals as well as causing other possible life threatening effects on Cat such as being hit by a car or attacked by another animal etc. THIS RULE FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF YOUR CAT! THEY ARE NOT MISSING ANYTHING OUTSIDE THAT THEY HAVE NEVER KNOWN ANYWAY! · Buyer understands that Cat can come down with a minor URI/Cold due to the stress of moving. Buyer should introduce Cat to friends and family members slowly in order to keep stress level down. · Buyer will provide socialization, high quality food, fresh water, adequate sanitary living conditions and proper veterinary care for Cat for the duration of its life. If Cat is found to be neglected in any way buyer agrees to surrender Cat to Seller with no exchange Cat or monies given from Seller to Buyer. · Buyer will not re-sell, lease out, trade or give Cat to any person for the purpose of breeding. · Buyer will not surrender Cat to any research facility, pet shop, Humane Society, Rescue group or similar facility. · Buyer agrees to contact Seller it for any reason Buyer can no longer keep or care for Cat. Seller has FIRST right of refusal meaning first option to have Cat back. If Seller is unable to take Cat back, Seller may be able assist in placement of Cat. · Buyer agrees to have Cat altered by or before the age of six months. Written proof from a licensed veterinarian of alteration must be given in writing to Seller before Seller will provide CFA registration papers to Buyer. · Buyer agrees to provide supervision of Cat around Dogs or other animals that may be a threat to cat. Buyer also agrees to provide supervision of Cat around young or rough children. Buyer will be responsible to make sure no child or adult will ever mistreat or be abusive to Cat in anyway.
